AWANA CLUBS

The Children's Ministry meets every Wednesday at 6:00 PM for AWANA clubs.

Awana is a Bible-based program for children ages 3 years - 6th grade that helps them develop a solid faith in Jesus Christ.

  • Goal: Teach children the Gospel of Christ and how to serve Him 
  • Activities: Bible study, games, songs, activities, worship, announcements, and awards 
  • Groups: Children are separated into groups based on age and grade, such as Puggles (ages 2 to 3), Cubbies (preschoolers), Sparks (kindergarten to 2nd grade), and more 
  • Resources: Awana offers resources such as curriculum, ministry solutions, and training programs 
  • Impact: Awana is used in 135 countries and reaches more than 6 million children each week 
The word "AWANA" comes from the Bible verse II Timothy 2:15, which says, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
